Semana 53 - Julio 2015
Taco Count for the Week: 6
Total Taco Count: 577.50
So this week We had splits for the first time in 3 months
(not sure why it happened like that).
But...I clicked with the other sister SO CRAZY FAST!!
She is in her first transfer and is just about the cutest thing ever=)
She is dying to work but unfortunately her companion... not so much.
We were walking down the Street and their área has a TON of
super "Richy Rich" houses.
There was one that I really like and asked if she had ever taught
in the houses before.
She looked at me like I was crazy...
I looked at her and said, kind of jokingly, "We knock?"
she responded and said OKAY! and ran over to the door...
We don´t knock doors here.
I think it was the first time I have legitimately knocked a door.
I put on my cool face but was a little nervous inside.
We sat there waiting for them to answer
and I was thinking of what to say.
It was cute because the other sister was so excited!!
The look on her face just about killed me.
Well, they never answered.
But she was really excited to try something new=)
All of our investigators are doing SO good!!! It makes me so sad to
know that I will be leaving soon.
But, we are teacher someone that is so crazy prepared for the góspel!
It is always such a blessing to teach these people.
The ones that bear the most powerful testimonies
about something you have just finished teaching.
The people that call you a day after the visit
because they have already read the chapters that we left for them to read
and they want to know what else they can read.
The people that look and find for their own fellow shippers.
That´s exactly how this hermano is.
He is already inviting everyone to his baptism=)
The lessons are always so spiritual
because he is going through some really difficult stuff.
But seeing how much he has changed just over these past couple weeks is something so BEAUTIFUL=)
I am excited to see how it all turns out=)
Saturday was a really great day for us!!
When we left in the morning and said our prayer we prayed that the Lord would put us exactly where he needed us.
We normally always pray for this "put" but when we said the prayer
it was just a little more sincere than normal.
We got walking and one of our appointments fell through. We both were strongly prompted to walk a certain way...
We started without knowing where we needed to go.
As we were walking we heard someone call out from behind us, "HERMANA!"
We froze just looking at each other.
We turned and walked back to where we heard the voice.
At the same time came a man running to flag us down.
He invited us in his store offered a seat and said,
"Share your message with me."
We started talking a Little sang a song said a prayer and began to talk about the family.
As we were talking he immediately started crying!
He explained everything that was going on in his life and is very excited to hear our message.
Later that night we were walking and another man started yelling,
"God Bless you!"
He called us over and said...
"My wife is waiting for you in the house.
She is on her knees praying you will come... go to her."
I know... kind of weird huh.
So we stopped by the house!
SURE ENOUGH!
We found an older lady in her front room on her knees...
praying that we would stop by.
She was so excited to see us=)
Never be afraid to be specific in your prayers!
It really makes the biggest difference!
Love you all=)
Gotta run!
