안녕하세요 가족
This is honor of my awesome new companion!!!
Yup, she is my cute little Asian=)
She is from Mexico but her family is from the Philippines.
I had NO idea... hahaha
One day we were writing in our journals at night and she started singing in KOREAN!!!!
Uhhhhhhhhhhhh???
I just sat there staring with my "deer in the headlights" face.
Once she realized she looked up at me and says,
"Oh yeah.... I speak Korean."
She started explaining all about her life!
She speaks Spanish, English, Korean, and Chinese.
She is SO cool=) The swweeeetest little thing ever!!
She has a really cool culture!
She has a special way of showing respect to the people that we teach.
The first time it happened... I didn´t know what to do.
So I just followed her example and did it too!!
hahahahahahaha Que osso.
She explained after.
We are still getting to know each other... but we click super well=)
The storms are incredible here! Yesterday it DOWNPOURED!!!
we left church and it was super sunny...
as we went down the road in the bus everything started changing!
The ENTIRE sky turned BLACK.
It felt like it was the middle of the night.
Then I huge storm hit. Lasted about an hour. Then left.
Everyone is scared because they are all traumatized from the hurricane Olid from last summer.
My area is awesome=) We have lots of people to teach and that makes me happy!!
I feel like I am walking around on the beach all day.
all the roads are sand... all the houses have sand all around them=)
My first day here we ended out spending the entire day painting a house!
Inside and out.
But my favorite part was when we were driving home=)
She has one of those cool island jeeps!
We all piled in and hit the highway!!
No music just staring at the stars singing hymns!
One of those little moments!
Today we went early to the beach!!
I almost died.
I can´t explain it but it was completely different.
I have been to the beach before... I have seen the ocean.
But sitting there at 6 in the morning the whole beach soloooo, listening to the waves=)
I was filled with the spirit!
Being able to enjoy all these amazing creations of my Father in Heaven.
Feeling just a little bit closer to Him knowing that they were all created so that I, His daughter,
would be able to enjoy it.
I said a prayer to thank Him for everything.
This week has been crazy and I feel almost like a fish out of water away from my home in Humaya
But I am getting to know everyone quickly=)
I have SO much that I want to share but I am almost out of time!
Sending all my love from Los Cabos del Mundo!!!
Yours,
Hermana Robinson
