WEEK OF MIRACLES!!
It almost makes me sad that things have been so rocky this last transfer.
I will be honest, I feel like all my excitement left.
I was constantly hearing how nobody would progress here.
I don´t blame my companion.
But, I do know that being two "newbies" is what this area needed.
I am still getting to know everyone and, well, my comp even more so.

Our excitement has been ridiculous this week!!
AND WE HAVE FOUND SOOOO MANY ESCOGIDOS!!=)
I almost didn´t believe it.

Let me share some experiences=)

We stopped by one house because we had an appointment, it was kind of weird.
She came and and greeted us and opened the fence.

they live in a "territory" and the family all builds a house and they all live together like a big happy family, but with different houses.

We were expecting to have the lesson with her but then she left to her house, walked in, and shut the door.
Okay.
We waited kind of confused but then out came her sister in law.
With 3 chairs!!

We sat down and started the lesson.
OH MY GOSH!!
I taught her once when I first got here and everything was normal.
I asked what she remember from the last appointment...
That´s when everything came out.

She told us that she has been praying every single night to know if it´s true.
She has been looking for her answer ever since this day.
One of her friends from the University is Mormon and has been talking with her.

She told us how she wants to feel her answer.
She wants it to be true.
=)

I felt prompted to pull out a Book of Mormon.
That is literally all I did.
Tears filled her eyes.
She looked at me and said...
"You have that book?!"

I was a little confused.
She told us how much she LOVES the Book of Mormon.
She started sharing the story about Joseph Smith and the golden plates and the pioneers and how courageous and valient the whole story is.
I asked her how she knew all of this.
She explained that before she met with missionaries and they taught her
many things.
She always studied and read her Book of Mormon.
But it was destroyed in the hurricane because she lost her house
 and then never knew.

She was so happy to recieve a Book of Mormon again.
We explained that in reading this book she would be able to find her response=)

Before she said she never had the desire that she has right now.
Her dad recently died.
She wants to be with him again.
She wants her Eternal Family.

Earlier in the week we met a girl in the store.
Haha, I know right...
We put an appointment and went later in the week.
We got there and nobody answered so we left.
Then we went to another house and they didn´t answer either.
So... we went back!
Nothing.
We left... but felt we had to go back.
We walked by and her dad was outside. =)=)=)
We told him to go and get her!

She was "sleeping"
We sat down and she got right down to business.
She asked us,
"So what do you guys believe, anyways?"

We explained and asked what other questions she had.
She is one confused girl.
She brought out just about every question in the book.

As my comp and I listened we just smiled!
We had the answers to all the questions that she was asking.
She explained that she was confused too because nobody would answer her.
Or they would just tell her a scripture and yeah, that was it.

We took the time to explain the Plan of Salvation.
WOW!!
The spirit was so beautiful=)
I have never had a lesson flow so smoothly!

My favorite part of the whole lesson was her prayer at the end.
I just remember her saying,
"Father, thank you for sending the sisters to answers my question in a way so simple and easy to understand.
I don´t feel so confused anymore."
There is no way to explain how I felt in that moment.

I could share another million stories but I am out of time.

Hermana Castillo and I are growing a lot.
She pushes me.
I LOVE IT.
I push her too...
SHE LOVES IT
we are growing like crazy=)

Sending my love from San Jose del Cabo BCS
