Semana 57 - Agusto 2015
Taco Count for the Week: 2
Total Taco Count: 590.50
Well this week has been a little better=)
Poco a poco.
I gave a talk yesterday in sacrament meeting and I think it really helped me.
I felt a love for the ward that I haven´t felt yet.
It gave me hope.
I talked about testimonies=)
It is one of my favorite things to teach... that and eternal life!
One sister came up to me after and gave me a huge hug and thanked me.
Then ran away... I think she liked it? haha
OHH!
So this week we had a WEDDING=)=)
Well the Elders.
But, the couple asked us to be witnesses!
She has been going to church for over 10 years and has never been able to get baptized because she wasn´t married.
WELL she got married and baptized the same day=)
It was a really special day for her!
We have been working really hard with one investigator that is progressing beautifully=)
She is struggling with the word of wisdom and can´t drop cofffee.
She explained how she just didn´t feel like she could do it.
We stopped by with the first counselor and he gave her a blessing=)
The next day when we went to visit her she told us that she didn´t drink any coffee in the morning!
It was so cute how proud of herself she was=)
She told us she was so surprised because,
"That man really does have the power of God!"
That was the first time in over 30 years that she has gone a
whole day without a cup of coffee.
I LOVE PRIESTHOOD POWER!!
In other big news... Our house got painted!
Our Landlord asked us what color we wanted. we told him LILAC
a nice pastel nothing too bright. He agreed and told us when we got back in the night it would be painted.
This is what we came home to:
I love you all so much!!!
