Semana 58 - Augustio 2015

Semana 58 - Agosto 2015
Taco Count for the Week:  2
Total Taco Count:  592.50

So today was a day FULL of adventures!!!!
We have a member in our area that works for National Geographic...
He does special tours of all the hidden secrets of Los Cabos!
WELL, he invited us to go on one of his tours...

We spent the whole day out exploring finding new secret spots=)
I have about 200 pictures but I will share just a few.

The waterfall was my favorite spot!
Absolutely stunning!

He also taught us the history of Mexico and a lot of other countries
but the best part...
He meshed the history with the Book of Mormon!!!
I am finishing Alma right now and it was almost like he was describing everything that I have read!
Then being somewhere, where you can imagine it all happening
.... SO COOL!!!

In other big and exciting news I was called to be District Leader for the last two weeks of the transfer.
I´m not entirely sure why... but I am happy to do it!
I had to call on Saturday and ask for numbers, and tomorrow will be my first District meeting=)

The area that I am in is still getting use to Sister Missionaries.
The other day someone came running up to us and said...
"ELDERAS?? ELDERAS??... MUJERES?!"
We spent some time explaining to them that we aren´t elderas...
But it makes me happy to see people get so excited to see
sister missionaries=)

We have been working a lot with one investigator.
I talked about her the other week, she is the one that went a whole day
without drinking coffee.
Well, maybe I was lacking some faith but I was expecting her to tell us
that she drank coffee again.
When we asked her she acted surprised and said,
"Of course not... ever since my blessing I haven"t drank a drop of coffee!"
She is going STRONG!!=)
She is preparing for her baptism!
Keep her in your prayers!!!

This week has been a lot better!
The beginning of the week was a little rough but then we had
one day that was perfect.
I was super happy when we got home and took a picture to prove it.

I think it got us both excited to get to work=)
Ever sine that day things have been a lot better!

Just last night as we were getting home someone came running,
 chasing us down!
My comp told me it was a former investigator that they had
stopped visiting because he never received his answer.
He was so anxious to have us come by to talk some more!
He wanted us to accompany him home to talk.
We explained that is was late but asked why he was so anxious...
He began explaining how he had received his answer
and had been looking for us because he needs to know
what to do to be baptized.
We were both shocked!

It just shows how powerful the answers we receive from our Father really are.
How they motivate us to do the right things=)

LOVE YOU ALL!!!
